No reason to play a game that's meaningless for both players.

So that's probably why it was forfeited. It was meaningless anyway.

Good to have that sorted. Then we can go back to complaining about Solar not being on stream (since TaeJa is now being casted)

Good to have that sorted. Then we can go back to complaining about Solar not being on stream (since TaeJa is now being casted) Well, it's still somewhat weird. I just checked a few past Homestory Cups - and whenever I found a tie, it was broken by Mapscore, not H2H.

Yeah, that's the case I used as reference. Maybe Stephano simply didn't want to play?! Edit: Also: Bly is ahead of Trap in the Liquipedia standings, even though Trap won the H2H.

Map score first else everything on LP and what people said yesterday is wrong. Stephano probably didn't believe he can 2-0 Serral.

The confusion arose because at first Stephano was the winner vs. Serral and he was still placed 5th.

However, he would have played a player who was already guaranteed first place and if there's a weird lucky punch, he could have taken it. Even if all odds were against him, why wouldn't he give it a shot? I don't think that's the case, tbh.
