Let me rephrase that - 47 minutes till the next match.

I would have liked to get the Maru-Serral finals as ultimate treat. SOS spoiled that. That guy so freaking good!!! SOS's preparation was genius.

I feel like if Maru had played standard (like heromarine) he could have won.

Not even a proper comparison. Lilbow knew his odds so he knew what he was doing from the beginning. Maru can do way better.

Next up: A short break, Special signature series, talkcraft about Special and Stats for 20 minutes, 5 minutes caster talk and then it starts.

Cheese strategies aren't strong in PvZ with the current patch, and I don't see him beating Rogue/Dark/Serral in a macro game.

Is it salty to say that forgetting your second supply depot while you're proxying is a terrible play? The first cyclone came 30seconds later and the adpet managed to freely kill 4 workers, that was game and not because sOs was great but because Maru screwed up. Well, I guess I am salty haha

It was not a great series for entertainment, but sOs genuinely played well. What do you mean it wasn't a great series for entertainment? It was hilarious.

It's not even comparable. No one with any sense had any expectations of Lilbow. This is a totally different thing. Maru was the tournament favorite and he blew himself out of the competition because he was stubborn and stuck too hard to the meta. Shameful really. He picked the worst time possible to go full Prime Terran.
