I'm still mad she's not at Blizzcon because she 2-3ed twice

so everybody just ignores her bad performances in the first two stops and blames the draws in the other two?

The thing is she's looked better than most of the guys in the top 8. Has, SpeCial etc have had bad performances as well but go to blizzcon because of a couple good runs. Scarlett ran into Serral early on in both events where she had great form.

Has and Special also have collected the benefit of a broken challenger system

Unlike Scarlett, who has to compete with Neeb and MaSa in the grueling Challenger NA.

Still better then Nice and Gogojoey

Well there's 4 seeds so she doesn't strictly need to compete against them. Just needs to be better than JonSnow, puCK, Semper etc

they also managed to finish 1st in their group unlike Scarlett

Which means nothing since you can run into Serral in the Ro8 regardless of finishing 1st or 2nd. Besides, when she does come first in her group like in Austin she gets Blizzcon finalist Nerchio in Ro16 instead.

You need to realize how lucky Scarlett is to play in NA qualifiers, where the competition doesn't even exist and she can qualify for the main stage vs players who will probably not even reach ro8 in EU challenger

Point being, the part about having much harder Challenger can also be applied to Elazer and uThermal, who missed Blizzcon. And some other EU players who pulled through.

so what?

and if her form was that great, why was she second in her groups?

Barely losing 3-2 to Serral (TWICE!) is better than any other foreigner has done this year. That kind of performance deserves more than 300/600 WCS points which is what she got for it. We see top players get upset in groups all the time but still smash the event.

The events where SpeCial and Has were in good shape, they didn't meet Serral until the ro4/finals, and as a result they got 900/1400 points for it and make blizzcon. That's where luck comes into it.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

So, just to be clear, as long as Time or Reynor don't win the event, Lambo and Nerchio are at Blizzcon?

Nerchio, who never made it further than Ro8 this year. Maybe Scarlett just doesn't play like a top 8 WCS player at any given time except in her matches with Serral

Maybe that's the case, I have no idea if better luck would have gotten her in or not.

I'm sure a lot of foreigners are really upset when Blizzcon invites go to players from weaker regions.
