Good sense of sportsmanship, Innovation has. All for the crowd!

What would be very nice to have though, is a marathon table summing up all the results of all NWs. On team level as well as individual level.

Major played really well, but you just have to wonder how seriously koreans take this event. I didnt expect soO to lose.

Well it was a match for the first place in the group, so maybe it got him confused and engage finals mode.

You can't really blame team Korea, the best players either didn't sign up or didn't get enough votes and now they're stuck with a team that's gonna have competitive matches against some of the other nations (mainly the ones with good Terrans).

I don't understand where this "Korea has a weak lineup this year" narrative comes from. Granted, MMA has just recently started playing full-time again and is not in top form, but INnoVation and soO are easily top 5 in their respective races.

Innovation might be top 5 terran but his shape is quite terrible so far with lackluster results and games. He bombed out of the easiest ro16 group, got destroyed at Katowice... MMA isn't back yet so they're left with just soO whose results contain some disappointment (Katowice)
This is clearly a very weak line up compared to a Stats or Classic (or even Zest ffs, just make him not play a Z) soO/Maru one.

And soO's ZvT is by far his weakest match-up so it's quite possible for players like SpeCial and uThermal to take him down. Even just a strong Protoss instead of MMA (while keeping INno and soO) would have made this line-up way more powerful. Although MMA is the entertainment so...

Both games against Special were superb though. Even though he lost he was in a terrible place on Abiogenesis as well as Acid Plant. Abiogenesis he won and threw after a lot of crazy stuff happening. Acid plant his initial defence was very weak and he tried to battle his way back into it which isn't easy against a Terran like Special. I don't think he looked weak there even though he lost.

I've done the top 10 teams and players so far: NationWars/Statistics
(and am losing interest in continuing seeing as there are 184 players left to add)

Every now and then I come back to this community for one tournament or another, and I always end up regretting it. All the sad sacks with their excuse mongering every time a Korean loses to a foreigner are pathetic. It's 5am! They're not taking it seriously! Inno and soO aren't really that good! The foreigner just got lucky! Are you kidding me? Maybe start some nonsense about jet lag or something, you left that one out.
Here's a fact: this Mexico vs Korea match was 10 times more entertaining and intense than the GSL semi's and finals combined.

"Chinese Taipei" is some disgusting ass-kissing towards China.
