Not sure I'd consider sOs - Maru and Classic - Dear a must watch. Impact - Dear was so so, Maru vs Solar was good and the 2 Trap series were absolutely insane.

What a tournament! I was glued to my seat in the auditorium for the entire twelve hours. Did not want to miss a bit.

After today's display, I'm really hoping Maru can take the entire thing.

Terran aren't even winning loads, they're the weakest performing race at the elite level. It's just it's so rare that they dominate the ultra lategame that people think it's imba

Does anyone feel bad for the players having to go so late? I was tired just watching by the end. Maru has to compete tomorrow morning and he was just playing until midnight and then signing stuff for a bit longer

Blanketing the opponents' units with unavoidable AOE by massing spellcasters is objectionable regardless of whether it is imbalanced or not.

Well thats probably because its true. Terran has been the worst performing race in every premier tournament this year 2018 (as far as I know). Hence why the amount of balance whining is confusing.

I'm referring to those complaining the raven is broken and that terran is imba. You can dislike the raven from a design perspective sure, even though I'm not personally sure it's that bad. Parasitic bomb, storm, fungal etc are all brutal if you clump up units.

Storm and fungal at least don't stack and can be microed against. And for ravens you essentially want as many of them as possible whereas high templar and infestors have more of a support role (mass infestors is a thing but that's at least mainly for neural against skytoss).

Almost all of them, as other people have said. But my personal highlight was sOs vs Maru. I guess from some of the comments above it's less to other people's personal tastes, but that series was intense and a really interesting showcase of how their styles interact. With every game, I found myself fascinated to see not just who won, but *how* and *why* they won. And it's fairly short, not a huge time investment.

Edit: Also, was this the first time we saw such deliberate sacrificial tactical play in SC2? sOs giving away that stalker on hold position for free so that Maru's army would be out of position for the defense... I don't remember the commentators doing that moment justice. sOs thinking like a chess player.
