It's mostly Usopama and Charosieur that are really toxic about it, it's just that they make up like 8% of all TL posts in this the Tourneys channel lol | ||

I never got the concept of cheering for players just because they're white. | ||

If anything people favour Koreans. I understand not liking the foreigner bias, but I don't actively rooting against foreigners because they're foreigners. When people cheer for Neeb or Scarlett or Serral, they're cheering for those players to do well, but they're not cheering for soO or Innovation or TY to fail. | ||

It wasn't healthy for the global scene if the foreigners couldn't be competitive because unlike BW, the majority of people watching were not Koreans. Also, again, you realize that the entire foreign Asian Starcraft 2 scene is....not white, right? Also a large chunk of the SA and Mexican scene are not white. What exactly do you find boring about the foreigner scene? Their playstyle? Do you remember Rain playing? He wasn't exactly the most exciting guy to watch? Their personality? I mean...foreigners have avilo. He's more than enough personality for the entire scene combined. Storylines? I mean Neeb being a highschooler and then being the first foreigner to win a Korean SC2 tournament. | ||
