I guess you could argue that way. In any case, Dark would have been first place in any fair system

Yeah it doesn't make sense that Gumiho advances over him just because he won more maps.

He lost more maps as well though.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

Yeah it doesn't make sense that Gumiho advances over him just because he won more maps.

Especially because the only way you can win more maps in that scenario is by losing more maps. In proleague it kinda made sense sometimes, in a way, maybe ^^

If Dark gets eliminated in the ro12 because of this I'll be pissed.

If Dark won a game against INno he would have gone 9-4, 1st place. But it's quite arbitrary that GuMiho gets rewarded for winning an extra map while Dark doesn't get rewarded for losing one less map.

Yeah it doesn't make sense that Gumiho advances over him just because he won more maps.

Especially because the only way you can win more maps in that scenario is by losing more maps. In proleague it kinda made sense sometimes, in a way, maybe ^^

If Dark won a game against INno he would have gone 9-4, 1st place. But it's quite arbitrary that GuMiho gets rewarded for winning an extra map while Dark doesn't get rewarded for losing one less map.

Well yeah but then he would have +5 anyway. So it's definitely arbitrary and i dislike that :/ H2H would have been fair

I was just referring to the "The only way you can win more maps is by losing more maps" bit.

Dark got kinda boned here, and now we're gonna have to live with all of dat ZvZ

Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

no but really i don't get how gumiho is #1 over dark. dark map scores vs gumiho map scores:

R1
2-1 1-2 (advantage dark)

R2
0-2 2-0 (advantage gumiho)

R3
2-0 2-1 (advantage dark)

R4
2-0 2-1 (advantage dark)

R5
2-1 2-1 (tie)

so dark's map score was better in three rounds, the same in one round, and worse in one round.

And he won head-to-head.

But nope, winning an extra map is more important than losing one less.
