She proved that she is at the same level of an average code S player,it is a good accomplishment.
I would still love to see Nerchio/Snute/Neeb and ShowTime in code S,but they are probably not planning to fly to Korea anytime soon

Only you would have this poor man watch her games vs Myungsik in good conscience.

aLive plays a lot of ladder too though, so I'd think she has met him quite often.

That.....that was not "average" Code S my friend. That group was Classic and 3 Code B scrubs.

Sad to see Scarlett not advance. Were her games any good?

Her vs aLive was excellent in the first two games. Lots of back-and-forth. Third game she played well but was just slightly behind on macro and positioning and aLIve overwhelmed her.

vs Myungsik was a train wreck. Even if you're a Scarlett fan I wouldn't recommend,

Well she played well in those games, just Myungsik played like shit. I thought he was asking about how she looked not how the actual games were but I guess I misread

But aLive did absolutely nothing crazy, or even slightly out of the ordinary. He played by reading straight out of the Terran Textbook, and beat Scarlett with slightly superior macro/micro/positioning.

And INnoVation wrote the Terran Textbook.

wow, you'd put a foreigner on par with two koreans?!? man, you're generous. isn't there like an unclosable skill gap?

You are exaggerating but yeah, their level definitely wasn't average Code S.

Code S is not the same tournament it was 2 years ago,the current level is way lower than it used to be.So I think that Scarlett is average compared to the average Korean player attending this tournament

Needlessly harsh. Classic was the best, ofc, and Myungsik was....not, but aLive and Scarlett both played quite well. Obviously, their games weren't INnoVation vs Dark level, but they were definitely worthy of Code S. It's only the Ro32.

I definitely think that Scarlett demonstrate why I win TvZ against Roaches but lose like hell against mutas.

edit: in Gold where I belong obviously, she could play with one hand and still beat me

Roaches just feel awful in ZvT. I do my best to never use them personally. You need mobility because medivac boost is so goddamn ridiculously good and roaches don't give you that as we saw

To be honest I never liked the roach/hydra style in ZvT when I played Z for the reasons you mentioned..
