Maru was fantastic at early-midgame pressure and fighting vs colossus without vikings. In lotv protoss is much better at early-midgame pressure due to adepts, warp prisms and heavy colossus play fell out of favor. Additionally, disruptors make it very hard to jump on colossus. | ||

In HotS he played very drop heavy MMM always skipping ghosts and vikings, and that's still relevant (though not quite as good as in HotS). He hasn't been great at picking up new LotV skills to complement though. | ||
