We saw Showtime advance first out of a group with Byun and Dear, we saw Elazer and Nerchio beat SSL champ Solar, Neeb has already proven that he can compete with the best and showed that again this tournament. On the whole this tournament showed that foreigners can compete against the best Koreans; they might not be able to win the whole thing but they can be competitive. And with a lucky draw, they could even win. If that's the progress in one year, then next year looks like things will be close to even -- especially if SC2 in Korea keeps crumbling. | ||

There always were foreigners who could compete against top koreans based on matchup, etc. | ||
