I enjoy 3rd place matches, since they are high quality SC2 matches between the 3rd and 4th best players in the tournaments, that is enough for me. Also I don't speak for others by saying that "nobody enjoys them"....... we get more starcraft, but we still find a way to complain

if you're going to play semantics, a semi-finalist is someone that makes it to the semi-finals of a tournament. in a single elimination, that makes the 3rd and 4th place finishers semi-finalists.
im not sure what your point is, but you're not making your case for not having a 3rd place match in a single-elimination tournament.

In the football world cup, they just let play their 2nd line or rotate as much as they can mid game. If they could choose, nobody would play a 3rd place match in professional sport.
They probably don't want to, but I can't see them turning it down when they can make a couple thousand dollar of it. Although using double elimination format is always better than dumb 3rd place match.

I'm not used to playing with liberators but I thought they were my only option, bio doesnt seem to trade well enough against adepts, think I played pretty well against Neeb, definitely played bad against showtime though
