Incredible indeed.
Maybe Valdes is actually from the future and using holograms to be in 2 places.
Maybe he could use that knowledge from the future to be a better caster then : P
He's improving faster than any other caster so by next year he'll probably be the casting banjo.
Yeah, he's actually a decent caster. But it's fun to be mean on an anonymous forum in order to get cheap laughs from strangers who you will never know at the expense of semifamous figures in our subculture.

An Overseer and a few Roaches in the main would have helped.

Less is for things you cannot count (less time, less water) and fewer for things you can count, pretty much. Usually if the word that follows it is plural, you'll use fewer, otherwise you'll use less

So Classic wins vs Byun, Byun initially dodges the Zerg (important), Classic mentally destroys Solar, Byun gets passed Super and qualifies by defeating an heavily tilted Solar 2/2 bets hooray!

Not sure ByuN has to dodge the Zerg. Not everyone is as good as Stephano.

No, he built four more to go to seven or so when the Overseer was in his base. But he saw the hydra push and still built immortals and expanded rather than preparing for the push.

Casters still favor people like sOs in every game. Form doesn't seem to matter to them most of the time.

One player plays in proleague every week for SKT the other one farms online tournaments. I understand why someone would think classic is the better player.

I like rapid as a caster. I wish we could see him more often with wolf. Valdes seems to use too many catchphrases or common phrases. Rapid really mixes it up.

I haven't got through 10% of any Starcraft campaign.
For me personally it's a bit of a bad sign when I don't finish a campaign, still passionate enough to watch obv
RTS campaigns in recent years just dont do it for me anyway. Last one I enjoyed was like CoH back in 2006 or something, but the BW and WC3 campaigns are in my all time favourite single player campaigns.

Logical ending, Solar was very much ahead from the mid game, it makes sense that he secured the win in the late game with a healthy 7 bases vs 4/5 after that.

This new caster is fucking annoying w/ all of the dumb sounds he makes all the time. It's like he is on drugs or drunk all the time or just thinking he should be making the worst Artosis impressions all the time.
Also saying stuff like "Classic has enough to win with a counterattack right now" whereafter Byun wins 1 minute later also doesn't look good.
If Byun just didn't engage in the trap on top he would have been golden, but killing a few buildings for losing all his army was not worth it, absolutely not. Also no Liberators :/

No. I watched several casts where he goes on like this. And stupid sounds are just annoying. There is a reason I don't hang around with drunk 14 year olds "once in a while".
Also telling someone to calm down and then use similar language as the person you are responding too makes you seem like someone who has a double standard.

I don't think many people were expecting Solar to make it. Also at most 2 out of TY/Cure/GuMiho/ByuN/Reality/aLive/Bomber make it, those are pretty big names themselves.

Not much love for Classic, as usual. Yes, he played poorly in the first series - but even champions drop the ball once in awhile (so did Zest in GSL). His play-style generally isn't flashy - but he does throw in some cool builds occasionally, like against Super in the loser series, and the cool proxy tempest in HoTS (Was it the Rotti build? Against Byul in the finals?).
I find his games more entertaining to watch than herO and Stats, and close to Zest. sOs, of course, takes first prize. Unrecognisable Protoss include the likes of Super, Hurricane, Patience, etc. MC's play, although interesting, is a bit too one-dimensional right now.
Poor Classic. Maybe he too feels the lack of love, and hoped the hipster glasses would win him love!

I liked his style in HotS a bit more, he was highly original and interesting yet relied very little on BS as you say. But yeah Classic definitely doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

My personal problem was simply with his display today. Overall i think he´s a really good protoss who does not rely on BS. (as a zerg i really appreciate that )

He gets more than Stats since he won SSL, so it could be worse
I think he was a much better player in HotS than anything he's shown in LotV though.

Classic especially and Stats also to some extent. Kinda hard to play protoss and not look like herO/Zest i guess

Classic also won two starleagues. Stats didn't really :D

In HotS. In LotV Stats has been the better player basically since it came out. But people still look at HotS results and end up underrating him. Or rather overrating others.

Oh yeah sure. It's just that people always think that past results will reflect future results somewhat. Obviously that's not always the case but for certain star players it's a decent enough assumption imo.
Stats is no championship lvl player in the minds of people. Classic is.

Stats is a championship level player based on his level of play.
Classic attacks into 3 siege tanks on a high ground.

I don't disagree with that but it's not really addressing my point, is it?

True, totally agree that Classic hasn't quite hit his stride in LoTV yet (no Protoss really has except Zest and Stats, not even herO and sOs). But even when he was wrecking in HoTS, he always flew under the radar. Not sure what he has to do to win hearts. Maybe switch back to Terran?

There's Dark for that!
Then again neither has Dark really wooed fans. Hmm, you know what, maybe it's just an anti-SKT bias. Even Rain didn't use to get much love, Inno gets routinely mocked, and soO is the only one who gets genuine support and sympathy (but he's a Kong, and it would take a really heartless man to put down a Kong).

Damn KT stealing all the fanboys!
Eh? Inno gets more love than anyone I think. He is mocked too but everyone loves him and he has plenty of fans in Korea.
Stats has a lot of fans in Korea I think but foreigners don't give him much love and underrate him. We must change that.!
Imo the JinAir boys have the most fans, they're the one stealing them all!!!

That's true. Maru, sOs, Rogue - the sexy trinity.
I love Maru and Rogue, sOs is a douche and i will never forgive him that he stole that one blizzcon...

Most people would picture sOs as being motivated by money. But I don't. Rather, he seems to take delight in traumatising people when the stakes are high, which is when emotions run high too.
