Because Stats both plays his PvP very smart and he's been very much on top of his control in the matchup recently. Proleague pls, give Dear vs Stats. I think it's a matter of time for the really smart guys - Zest and sOs mainly - to return to the absolute top of PvP again. Where they were at HotS.
