I think so. GPL had an archon mode tournament last season. Cyan and Jieshi are a known archon mode pair too.

That was a pretty fun game though, I like these Archon showmatches the chinese keep throwing our way.

Venue for this tournament looks amazing.

So in that game we learned that... swarmhosts are still trash and that tempests > lurkers. Valuable lessons.
More seriously I was pretty impressed by the Chinese archon.

There are many Archon matches in GPL (Archon Mode), HuomaoTV Cup (online minor tournament), (NeoTV) Starcraft League (spl format, see also: Starcraft League 2015).

In the qualifer, this pair lost to XiGua and MacSed (sometimes Protoss, sometimes Zerg). XiGua and MacSed got the first championship of the archon mode in Chinese Mainland in GPL 2015 Season 3/Archon.

More seriously I was pretty impressed by the Chinese archon. Some practice on the coordination is needed for archon, mode, and snute and scarlet are lacking on this. Jieshi and Cyan were an stable duo in NSL.
I believe snute and scarlet can do better if they play alone. Revolver beat JieshiCyan duo 1vs2 in the China VS Russia showmatch a month ago.

No Rotti for the PvP?
I don't even get how tournaments decide casters anymore.

but with Has you at least know what you're getting. Absolutely every type of cheese imaginable

If Has wins vs Harstem? How much would he wish he just did not say anything about Sioras using his computer to watch replays?
