To me it looks a bit like a "Well if this guy loses on Ulrena it's like nothing happened"-pick aswell. Although I could see MyuNgSiK wanting to hit Cure on a map like this. Because let's be honest, aside from Cure, Trap and Creator, there's nobody on Jin Air you'd want MyuNgSiK to play on Ulrena.
I really hope Jin Air takes it, but honestly I think SKT will smash 'em unless we another all-kill from sOs, or something else comparably spectacular and unexpected.

Ulrena for ace-match. Oh my...
As if SKT lets it go that far
you're right, SKT will be dead before then
I don't believe Cure to all kill but go go JinAir, show the worstKT what you're made up of I demand proxy build from JinAir in every single map.

Yes I just went there yesterday. Just tell your friend to type Nexon arena into Google map. Come out from line 9 sinnonhyeon station exit 6, walk straight ahead, make a right turn after w tower (it is at the back) and go down the stairs to basement

The big advantage of SKT is that Maru is a killing machine against Protosses and Terrans. It will be quite tough to find anyone, who will beat the two Zergs. But both sOs and Rogue are able to do it with the correct surprise strategy and build. In any case, that match will be soooo good! Hype!

it's oov's coaching philosophy at work. It won last year, dont see why he would stop now.
A quick question for anyone local in Seoul. I am currently here on a vacation, and I am wondering if this game is played at the Nexon arena like the previous matches? I'd like to go and watch it live. Went to see Jin Air vs. KT Rolster last tuesday and it was awesome!

Does anyone know, will there be a rebroadcast in the evening again? Somehow, I will have to leave approx. 80 minutes after the start ... so if it is not finished by then, I would try to hide from any spoilers and finish watching it in the evening ...

If you use the youtube stream link, you should be able to watch it when its over like a VOD, but that's korean only I guess

Nooo, but not in Proleague!!! This is not GSL!
this is the final, think about it. They need to stretch it out. I bet there are longer than usual breaks between each map as well. Probably like a 10 minute break after the 2nd map

On open ground, it would be fine, with a flank it would make sense. But at a ramp on equal army supply I think Lurkers should hold any ground army that runs into them from one side without outranging them. Just like I think tanks should do the same.
The result would've been the same without the Phoenix lifts.

That many tanks and bunkers shouldn't lose to a midgame push. Prion is just unfair against a Zerg with good macro. Seems like the only way a T or P can win there is to cheese or all-in.

Man, what a bummer. I would have thought that that kind of crazy base trade would have had to favour sOs in principle. That attack timing, though... = (

Inno kept a lot of production and medivacs, as well as getting +1,+1. Upgraded MMM vs unupgraded gateway units is very one sided.
The playoffs basically confirmed what everyone already knew: SKT is way ahead of all the other teams, Jin Air and KT are the next strongest and relatively even, and the other teams are quite a bit behind them.

There were a lot of things that could have changed the outcome of this game: sOs forcefielding the ramp to kill all the SCVs Innovation killing sOs's Probes sOs building a Cybercore first instead of a Gateway when the basetrade concluded sOs killing the Engineering bay with the upgrade still going on

Yes yes, I know ... but that are all the things "what if" ... but here, the few seconds, that was just a pity ... But one thing, I see often in sOs's games - he loses his mothership core quite often - too often.

That's because, as he put it, "his hands are slow". He can't always keep up, he can't always do what he wants to do, because other players are faster. sOs has a brilliant mind, but his body can't match it.
So sometimes he'll lose his mothership core when he could save it.

WAY TO GO SKT!!! I wonder who our fourth would have been. Dark?
Could have been any of Dark/Dream/Classic just because the map would have been Ulrena. Most likely Dark because he seems to be the ace.
If he just moved those high templar to the mineral line before the battle and got a couple of storms off when the upgrade finished, the outcome would have been different in the Sos vs Innovation game. What a match.

Agree 50%, it wasn't correct, but Terran know what will Zerg do. Why Maru let soO do it? He decided to go for 3CC and not to push. Only 4 helions for little harass on beginning and let Zerg do everything he wants. If you know, that you are playing vs macro zerg on imba map, why not to make all in before 2 gold bases?

the thing is, zerg knows that terran is very likely to allin on that map and because of the gold bases he can have more roaches than usual for defense. if the zerg knows how to play that map there's not much the terran can do.
