He wents to end the game right there. It is just not the best move. But in raw skill, mechanics, build orders, he is still top notch. He seems to be eager to win and finish the games, I don't know why. I would say that he´s mechanics have always been bad. He´s really good at all-ins though. The idea that being good at all-ins means you have bad mechanics is a fallacy. Your all-ins are much more powerful with good mechanics. It's definitely easier to go away with average mechanics with all-ins than in macro oriented games though. But I agree the good at all-ins = bad mechanically thing is just stupid, just look at MC or PartinG in their prime, they would just kill you with all-ins because it was quicker but they backed it up with the option of excellent macro play. Hell, remember hyvaa vs INnoVation ? A good all-inner is an all-inner that has extremely solid macro play to back it up. would you define has as a good all-inner ? I don't remember Has playing a solid macro game. Do you ? fair enough

I would say he has not the best mechanics ( but which foreign protoss has?) on earth, but every execution, little micro move, is really really well done. In general obviously. Plus he probably has the bests build orders / timings of the foreign scene. that's a good question actually. Even among Koreans, I wonder who is the most mechanically sound Protoss. herO is probably the best mechanically when he's in form. Zest always floats excessive amounts of money (everything else is so perfect that he still has the right amount of units though, no idea how that works), sOs has said himself that his hands are slow and his mechanics aren't that good. Classic and Stats also have good mechanics I guess. Since Rain retired this is a lot more open I'm not even sure Rain was THAT great mechanically. He was divine as far as build orders and (especially) compositions go but I'm unsure his macro was the most pristine. Thing is I think it's harder to display great macro play as Protoss compared to let's say T (Bomber in his prime) or Z (soO) given how the race works.
