i understand nerfing their damage to mech units as part of the siege tank change, but i don't think a nerf is necessary for ravagers against protoss mech units. even in diamond league most protoss will never get hit by corrosive biles... in zvp it's stronger aggressively just because you can focus down pylons and back the army into a corner, but if you're fighting an immortal army it's just micro vs micro

Well I think the patch is solving the "pylon is too squishy" problem more than anything else. Because, you know, nerf of the pylon cannon.

The majority of players would find this as pain in the ass and an autowin button(low leagues). You cannot balance all the time around pro players, this is lowering the player base.

Almost current issue of this game is all about timing.
This is more important to look at than the rest.
Like adept pre-nerfed way too strong so they delay timing a bit with -1 DAMAGE.
RAvager timing attack vs protoss and liberator are the next victim.
TvZ without tankivac is still a question. Let see how they play out.

TY played turtling liberator/ghost late game TvZ months ago in GSL Pre-Season. Korean Terrans just figured out that it's way easier to kill Zerg players before they have a hive.

Well, so far the biggest favorites for advancing were stopped by a Terran player and by their mistakes(Rogue, SoulKey). So numbers may be shifted from 50/50 TvZ but this doesn't show anything.

I think it's a rather common thing that whenever a new expansion comes out, Zergs are the slowest to adapt. Happened in HotS too, they were terrible the first days (and made the race look UP).
