Yeah saw him fail a baneling bust vs Demu. Must be stressful times these minutes.

Uthermal climbed from 26 to 22 now. But only 5 minutes left

Didn't most of those players already qualify? Do they play twice?

Ptitdrogo, Bly, Dayshi and Marinelord were the 4 who weren't qualified yet. I'm not certain how it works but I haven't followed it closely

Nah Marinelord was already qualified : http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2016_WCS_Winter_Circuit_Championship
Zanster is the 4th i believe

You're correct, I missed Marinelord's name on the page and I still had the list with Major instead of Zanster.

Bly apparently threw some games at the end. This is absolutely disgusting in the context of the competition. Some players received undeserved points. Such manipulation is more or less equal to match fixing and it ruined the sense of this competition.

tfw only Ptitdrogo, Dayshi, Bly, and Zanster are fighting for 2 qualifier spots. 50% odds of qualifying they should thank the people laddering who are already qualified.

honestly if that's the unique drama it can be considered as a huge success. The amount of win trading didn't look too high and the little seed manipulation at the end just highlights the importance of having rules for a tournament.

Oh, but there are rules against it everywhere. Non-sport attitude is generally prohibited in competitions. In this case Bly gave out about 100 ranking points. While the next 3 contenders required less than 20 to qualify. Therefore he disrupted the game results dishonestly.

don't focus on bly he wasn't the only one doing stupid stuff. And there isn't any precise rule for this right now, the handbook isn't there and the guidelines don't cover the Challenger

I dont think there are rules about machfixing in the handbook - that does not mean its allowed wherever.
