Don't you think its a good thing to point out Suspiciousness? People said similar things about Yoda matches and you had hordes of people defending that guy. I am sure he is sad that he got a lot of unwanted attention from it but in the end its better to keep the game clean than allowing things like mach fixing to control the outcome dont you agree?

True but the YoDa matches had evidence (Pinnacle voiding bets, wild betting swings, etc). This had none of that, your only evidence is "Parting played bad".

Nothing for DH, no announcement for HSC. But the last HSC didn't get WCS points because one of their sponsors wasn't quite what Blizzard wanted. Also HSC is December 17th to 20th, by that time GSL and SSL should slowly be starting up.

If there was to be a Hot6ix Cup thing this year, that would probably be the first event with WCS points.

I suppose it's difficult to justify allocating WCS points to a Dreamhack without a Korean qualifier. HSC had a few thought right?

I don't quite get what you mean by that, sorry. Yeah, there's going to be another HSC in less than a month from now, they've always done them twice a year. But they used to be able to give out WCS points for it, until the one this year's July.

OK, I see, because I was watching the one in July and thought, the next one would be next July again ... so my question was if it is done twice a year, OR if the one in July was just an extraordinary one, OR if this one is extraordinary because of LotV, OR if they move the July event to another timeframe = December ...

Guess it depends if Kinguin still sponsors it or not. Naruto gave that as the reason why the last one had no WCS points. But honestly HSC as a mostly invite event is fine without WCS points imo.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Well the one in July had a guy buying a spot for himself through crowdfunding - giving WCS points to that would've been horrible.

Oh, I see. Generally they have 1 in Summer and 1 in Winter (or close to Winter). Which is awesome because HSC is fun.

Nah, they couldn't give out WCS points because Kinguin was sponsoring the event. Not that it matters that much, I think HSC is okay without points.

Well, then I seriously HOPE that they would've forbidden them giving out WCS points even if there wouldn't have been a sponsor issue. I am with you though, HSC is very much fine without WCS points. I even prefer it if they don't give them out, since it's very invite-based naturally.

meh, overall a forgettable tournament, not really the "fireworks" that some were waiting for.
Stale games, player list was kinda bad, no cool stories, nothing.

Not gonna lie that was pretty disarming, still waiting for some really big ass tournament with innovation/maru/sos...And all the big names to show me what LOTV is really about.

Production was good, some things to improve ( especially on how to fill the blanks :p and producing more off tournament content ) but overall ok.
Casters were kinda off tho props to Snute for doing a good job, you can clearly see how much more skilled he is than the rest. But the rest of the casters are getting old a bit, i'm sick of hearing the same crappy reference / joke everytime ( it was fun for a while but please re invent yourselves ( you're paid for that ) )

The TvP games mostly were really, really good. I also don't dislike PvP yet, those Disruptor matches were kinda fun. The ZvP's (and those were quite often) unfortunately mostly weren't that interesting.

And is it the same HSC as in July? Will it be held twice a year?

I don't quite get what you mean by that, sorry. Yeah, there's going to be another HSC in less than a month from now, they've always done them twice a year. But they used to be able to give out WCS points for it, until the one this year's July.

OK, I see, because I was watching the one in July and thought, the next one would be next July again ... so my question was if it is done twice a year, OR if the one in July was just an extraordinary one, OR if this one is extraordinary because of LotV, OR if they move the July event to another timeframe = December ...

Oh, I see. Generally they have 1 in Summer and 1 in Winter (or close to Winter). Which is awesome because HSC is fun.

I agree, it is really fun! It is great to have two per year ...
