The way he played is very disrespectful to Lilbow, if he played 3-0 on Macro games, then fine no-one would have a problem.
That's ridiculous. He played to win, that's in no way disrespectful. If anything Lilbow's playing disrespectful by neither practicing nor properly preparing for his opponent. If Life doesn't need to win a macro game, why would he waste his time?

Remember that player bashing is not permitted on TeamLiquid. Criticism in its own right, but there will be no senselessly bashing Lilbow in this thread.

That's obviously not the point though he still should have tried.

He can still redeem himself at DH Winter, I just don't get why anybody expected something different. It was phisically impossible to get efficient practice for this during the last 4 weeks.
Of course he should've still done better than he did, because you don't lose 3 games like this in a row. Even if you played only LotV.

Obviously yes. I don't think he would have won, but he wasn't prepared for the maps or the builds etc. He played really really bad.

I feel like you're wrong though because he could've at least watched some vods. If Life doesn't veto moonlight and you actually watched some vods, seeing what he did to partinG, you wouldn't play that map so blind. He didn't check the rocks or scout at all.

You made us proud in WCS, but today I'm ashamed. I don't understand Lilbow, what is the purpose of fighting 1 year to qualify to Blizzcon... and don't prepare properly ? Finaly I feel he deserved such humiliation... Mainly because that qualification pays him more money than Blizzcon perfomance could realistically.

He might have felt that he couldn't win here anyway, so the path he chose would have been better.

He didn't need to though. If his all ins had been repelled I'm sure he would have moved to macro games. But he won because the purpose of these games is to win. But I guess Lilbow didn't see it that way.

I think it's a bit presumptuous to assume that Lilbow would've won a game against one of the cheeses had he practiced more HotS. But yeah, i'm very disappointed about the series as a whole

Incontrol is right, "it is hard to practice hots" is just an excuse, there would have been some way.
I love the fact that the foreigner got destroyed (sry i am that biased), but as i said before... The games today were SHIT. The first series was decent i guess. I hope the next 4 series will make up for it
