We're not talking about balance at all. We're talking about abilities with zero interaction. Blinding Cloud vs mech effectively is one, same as PDD, same as Force Fields.

Yeah sure, but I'm just saying that Wings of Liberty was way worse in the end overall. Zergs just did the same strat against all the races and destroyed everything. People who are crying about Mech being broken in the late game are RIGHT. But when they calling it worse than BL/Infestor they are ridiculous. Game 5 was the first game of the series that went to this stage.
Back in WoL almost every game of this series would have been BL Infestor. Not 1/5.

The foreigner factor tends to override the playstyle factor. But it's a korean vs korean, it's all about race and playstyle.

Unless you became a fan of Innovation because of his great use of PDDs, no. The thing with dominant styles is that they are typically objectively better than their counterparts. If there are no options, you can't blame the player for going down that route. It's like the people bashing Life for occasionally playing BL/Infestor - what else was he going to do?
