Much better from Dear, Stargate helps. Didn't do anything with it at the start but took a 3rd and soon as scouted Muta you star chrono out Phoenix and you're fine. Add in the fact he had a nice army size then he was in a great position. Fast +3 timing was beautiful. ByuL to gas starved.

To be honest this was on Byul, he fucked up and let all of his Roaches get killed for no reason. He was just playing too risky with them and tried to sneak up with them from behind even though he knew Dear saw him multiple times.

To be fair, Dear threw that game pretty hard... He didn't defend the roach counterattack which killed his 4th and put him in an allin position where he just attacked into broodlords/blinding clouds... If he just backed out he could easily snipe the 4th with blink stalkers and then back off, defend his own 4th and get out tempests.
Now let's hope Maru makes it to the finals so we get some sweet sweet bio vs zerg play. Also, to get a different Terran in a GSL finals. If Innovation makes it he'll be the only Terran in to play in GSL finals since Mvp.

Ah man, was really hyped when i saw that Dear made it to game 7. His attack at Byuls natural was a bit too mutch though. Well, that is the end of Dears last minute Blizzcon

I was thinking, maybe Dear was counting on his mothership to recall back to his 4th, but that went down, and maybe the BLs caught him off guard (?), and these events caused him to feel like he was losing control of the game so he decided he had to end it there and then.
It seemed like the sort of decision I'd make, and I'm a bad player.
honestly I think what byul did in getting to the finals in both SSL and GSL is one of the biggest accomplishments ever in SC2... maybe even more so than soO's 4 GSL silvers in a row

naw. I love ByuL but I wouldn't put him that high yet. soO maintained a top-tier form for much longer.
Although...I do think ByuL is up against harsher circumstances what with the state of ZvP and ZvT

Definite front-runner of his race for sure. Honestly, 2015 has been a really hotly contested year unlike 2014 that I think the winner of Blizzcon could reasonably be proclaimed the best player of the year. It's not like with Zest or Mvp, where they were profoundly ahead of everyone already.

Yes, GSL and SSL season 3 were not nearly as good, but if we look at the rest of these results i think it can compare to Byuls performance. Which is why i said that Blizzcon (imo) will be the decider here.

well he got a T for his 3rd big finals instead of the 4th, but I can very well see him go down the path of soO and lose at the hands of INno...
Both sad and happy that this Byul kid some how made it to the finals. Sad because the players that he beat threw all of their games. Happy because he will get 4-0'd by Maru or Innovation and probably cry again. Like I said before, tears don't win you games, skill and practice does. People that said that Byul "didn't play to his usual level in the SSL finals" are delusional fan boys~
I think being in dual league's plus being sent out in proleague every week makes what Byul did a much bigger accomplishment, even if it's for just one season. He also has last season's GSL silver + quarter final finish in last season's SSL and not to mention blizzcon upcoming
