Sorry I meant to say MC, always confuse the GSL casters

Yeah I heard INnoVation is a good caster these days

INnoVation stayed in Korea, you need to improve on your runner trivia

Nah I know I failed, just too tired to think straight d:

yeah yeah find more excuses for the washed up Koreans

Well I mean
ByuL was a runner once and is now GSL and SSL finalist
MMA was a runner once and is BlizzCon runner-up and GSL semifinalist
Bomber was a runner once and has shown solid play, although nothing extraordinary. Same with jjakji, with weaker play, but like many true KR players.
Polt beat the greatest PvT players during the Protoss golden era
A team made with many former runners beat KeSPA's mighty JinAir this round in PL round robin
ForGG, Stardust and San are failures I'll give you that

honestly I was just kidding at first, but Yorkie got pretty rustled

and we both know that ByuL sucked before CJ picked him up

Lmao Byul was promising way before then. And nice use of rustled, you're an excellent memer, but a terrible debater.

there's a difference between "promising" and "good", but w/e

There's also a different between "promising" and "sucked." There's also a huge difference between good and his level right now as one of the best in the world overall and probably best zerg atm

Given what I've seen of CJ, I'm just gonna go ahead and say that CJ had little impact on his skill overall. Send him to any other Kespa team and he's just as good.

And what have you seen of CJ?

They have all maintained there respective levels of skill, except SkyHigh who went up for a little bit.

Hydra improved after leaving.
Gumiho improved after leaving.
They basically chased effort out of the scene.

Compared to say what KT, JA, SKT, KHAN they havent really shown any kind of skill in increasing their players overall skills.

But but Sora

Sora is exactly the same since he joined. Can only perform when the letters WCG form n anagram.

As for ByuL, he is the anomaly. Which makes me think any other Kespa team could have done to ByuL what CJ did.

We're the StarCraft community, mate. If you're not the best, you're shit. If you're not directly trying to beat the best of the best, you can't be good. If you don't spend 12h a day in front of a computer and don't sacrifice your social life in order to attempt a hazardous career in pro eSports, you're a lazy fucker.

I mean it's pretty much that way in every competitive community be it esports, regular sports, or whatever. If you ain't first, you're last

Rain got better results upon leaving SKT. PartinG too. MyunGsik too. I can't think of players that left Khan or JAGW recently. Hydra made 17th-24th of Code S twice while on CJ. What makes you tell he would do it now? I'll give you GuMiho, he should have been used by CJ.

I honestly thought Byul seemed really good even when he was on IM. I get why people don't like to listen to me say things like "his play was solid" or "he had potential" without the results to back it up but I honestly think he was building towards his current skill level even back on IM.

Yeah and all that's horrible for physical and mental health which I thought came across nicely in the SC2 VN. Koreans in team houses don't just practice more, they have people helping them get a good diet and exercise and the team house provides social interaction.

Fun fact:
Out of the 2 protoss's that left SKT from the 3 big Protoss's in SKT (Rain, PartinG and Classic)
Rain and PartinG won 2+ tournaments in half a year, since their (highest) peak in 2012 and has finally reached the GSL finals while being on a foreign team AFTER LEAVING SKT, say much about skill? (ALSO, Rain might still reach SSL finals)

A team made with many former runners beat KeSPA's mighty JinAir this round in PL round robin
ForGG, Stardust and San are failures I'll give you that

honestly I was just kidding at first, but Yorkie got pretty rustled

and we both know that ByuL sucked before CJ picked him up

I honestly thought Byul seemed really good even when he was on IM. I get why people don't like to listen to me say things like "his play was solid" or "he had potential" without the results to back it up but I honestly think he was building towards his current skill level even back on IM.

That's not false. There was some hype when he joined CJ because of his good results in PL on IM and all that. Obviously lots of people went the "overhyped player" route. Well, look at where he is now d:
