Foreigner losing to Korean, whats remarkable about it? No what's remarkable is his record vs non-Hydra Bunny vs Forgg and Bunny vs Stardust is tons more remarkable...
lilbow would have destroyed ForGG this weekend (even Gungfu did), beating ForGG is not remarkable just because he is Korean.

Hard to say anyway, we will see at Blizzcon maybe.

That would be so ridiculous if he didn't Sometimes being the top foreigner isn't enough though. I'd like it to be that way. When Naniwa made it to BC 2 years ago, he had to defeat YugiOh, MC,(TLO,SortOf), and Jaedong in Stockholm, STC, Jaedong and Dear in Anaheim, Hack, San and Hyun in New York, duckdeok and Innovation in Cologne... and after all of that he still didn't have enough points to make it without playing a tie-breaker match. It should be equally hard for Bunny/Lilbow to make BC this year I hope. If they get BC tickets without beating top koreans around the globe, it will be a stomp at Blizzcon.

Beating any Korean in eliminations is remarkable regardless of form or matchup since foreigners very rarely do that

Jim beat Life and Taeja before both went on to get top 4 and win Blizzcon

Life, ByuL, Rogue, Dark, soO are all a tier above imo.

Yeah and that is way more impressive than Lilbow finishing top2 in this WCS

Its not about whether he's a foreigner or not its about consistently being at the top of your region. For example, Bunny has had equal results in WCS as Stats has in GSL/SSL and far better results than Fantasy, Rogue, Dark, and Zest yet is just barely in the top 16.

I think it's debatable that Hydra is a strong enough Zerg to have decent results in GSL or StarLeague (ro16, ro8 ?), which put him easily in the same batch of players as ByuL, Curious, Life or Rogue. So top 5 quite plausible, but more 5th than 1st.
Hydra is the only player I could being able to play decently in Korea from this WCS season to be honest. With Polt semi-retired, WCS is weaker than ever.

It's really about how you look at it though: - Do you think being the best in your region should give you automatically a spot at blizzcon even if your region is WAY worse than other regions competing for spots. - Or do you think Blizzcon should be for the best 16 players of the year. I personally don't give a damn about foreigners being at blizzcon if they don't have any chance there regardless.
