You can take bad trades on 5 base v 3 base.
I suggest you watch that game again. Yes, they were on even supply, but Myungsik was never in a position to even consider attacking Maru. Being unattackable is a pretty solid strat, imo.

Life has done similar things in the past to get into the head of his opponents and people talk about what a great strategist he is for it. If myungsik is so mentally weak that he can't handle manner mules then I think that says more about him than maru
