![]() Source: http://s.163.com/15/0520/15/AQ2NLLID00314Q8T.html You lost to Flash in your first SPL game. It felt like I was slaughtered losing to Flash. If I ever have a chance to play him again, I'll have to slaughter him back. I was very nervous as it was my first time playing in the SPL, and I am very sorry to my Prime teammates. I hope that through my hard work, I'll be able to help Prime win games in the future. Your nervousness was noticeable both from your expression before the game and from your play during the game. You must have had many thoughts as you went into the game? Yes. As this was a very significant match, I prepared a lot. I studied his playstyle and I felt that he was the type of player who would play with an all-in timing attack, and I specially came up with many counters to that strategy. Having two immortals and one observer would defend very well any pressure he might put out in the early game, and eventually I would rely on simcity to defend the all-in. Unfortunately, things didn't go according what I had in my mind, and I couldn't help that I lost. I just have to try harder next time. You defended Flash's first wave of attack very beautifully, but during his second wave of multi-pronged drop harassments, there was a serious problem with the splitting of your army. The first wave was within my expectation, but I totally never expected the second wave of drops. That led to a huge disruption in my tempo. I never thought of him as such a type of player, and so I had just focused on the front. You are the first Chinese Starcraft 2 player in history to ever compete in SPL. I was lucky I guess, but I don't think it really says anything. I want to be the first one to win a game in SPL. Many Chinese gamers are also eagerly awaiting the next time a Chinese representative will compete. Will you be playing in next week's games? No, not next week, because I'll be going back to China to play in GPL. I'll have to wait untilthe next time I come to Korea before I can play. How did training and living in Korea feel? Apart from eating and sleeping, the rest of the time is spent practicing and doing nothing else. It feels like I'll be able to practice properly over here. Which player or race would you like to face the next time you play? I don't want to meet a Terran. I want to play either against a Zerg or a Protoss. It feels very hard to win against a Terran. Any closing words? I hope that through my hard work, I'll be able to achieve victory in SPL. I feel the games in team tournaments are more important than the the games in individual tournaments, and I hope I don't let everyone down the next time. Thank you everyone for your support. Also, huge thanks to IG and sponsor Cherry for the huge support for this trip. | ||
