Seriously though, why have the English Proleague casters in SC2 always been so bad? I've been watching the Korean vods with no audio and music cause I can't bear it, went to watch the end of MaruVSMyungsik again and pulled up the English version... Jesus Christ. Those dudes don't even know how to play by play, let alone analyze a god damn thing. | ||

I think they analyze things pretty well and like Artosis/Tasteless, they have fun while casting which is always entertaining. If I had to listen to "Flash and Cure are BOTH at 13 SCV's at this stage but Cure scouted earlier so it looks like Flash is in a slight economic lead at this time. We'll see how far ahead this'll take him" I probably wouldn't watch SC2. Everyone can pretty much figure out what the "play by play" is by watching it and during the menial things that always take place, I'd much rather listen to theories on how the game will go, particular styles of the players, previous trash talk of the players, random jokes, or whatever else. Same goes for stuff like the end of the Maru vs Myungsik game where Maru is building CC's and manner muling the hell out of Myungsik. I'd rather hear them laugh, say he's being a "bad boy" and talk about Maru telling Myungsik to GTFO instead of "Oh well that was a waste of minerals" or pathetic attempts to keep us engaged in who'll win by pretending the game isn't over when we all know it is. | ||

And this is actually what other english casters outside of Korea almost always do, apollo being the exception. | ||
