Wow, looks like 4 zergs in the semi unless Bunny can pull a rabbit out of his hat. Makes it easier to choose what to watch I guess, that's always something
I like the bio switch. Buny has lost every mech game I saw recently vs jaedong, symbol, hydra, snute, soulkey and petraeus. Its something crazy like 0-7.

Well after the 2 bo5s that are currently live, they will play the two semis and the final in a row, all on the main stream. I don't think there are fixed times.

Ok, no breaks in between? I assume JD vs Hydra is the first semi then.

Yes JD vs Hydra should be first, but they do have a lot of downtime between the series. No scheduled break though like at DHs.

I don't understand why Bunny felt he had to keep pushing with small forces while he was equal/up in army supply. He couldve easily defended at home while getting to 3/3 and a few more Thors.
I feel like people here expect too much from Bunny. He is a foreign Terran playing bio TvZ vs a Korean, there is nothing more difficult to play. I think he should play try mech so its less mechanically straining.

Have you seen Bunny's mech? That needs a few more hours of practice before it becomes presentable.

I admit I had not. But in any case, props to Bunny for having the balls/skill to play bio. At least makes for a better viewing experience.

As a Terrran I feel very comfortable versus RH. Just sit on your ass knowing that your army will be stronger lategame, and pull back versus blinding clouds. The only time you lose is if you stand in blinding cloud too long.
WCS Premier and Gfinity is dominated by zerg, while zerg is doing really bad in korea atm; Maybe they should consider playing the same mappool for all wcs-tournaments or have different balancepatches for those leagues :S

WCS Premier is dominated by Zergs? Lol
14 Zergs in Premier.
8 of them qualifying through ZvZ, and two others by beating supposedly vastly inferior opponents.

I think it's no secret that Zerg has been the strongest race in Europe ever since Stephano's rise

Hey, don't blame them. Hydra only had vastly inferior opponents to choose from.

Could have picked JaeDong or Stardust for HYPE
Still inferior. And he needs them as backup against Captain America for season 2, can't eliminate them himself.

There were just a lot more top zergs here than any other race.
On top of that all the Zergs that played so far advanced in Kespa Cup. GSL code S ro32 race distribution was a nice even P10/T12/Z10. And in SSL it's Terran who are under represented with a distribution of 8/2/6. Zergs don't seem to be doing so bad at all.
Hope they will invite more terrans next time ! Even if they don't reach top koreans, players like Bunny, Major and Marinelord would give a good challenge
On May 03 2015 22:05 GumBa wrote: This tournament has been very meh and all hype is now dead
I think its just a very bad player selection/bad luck with qualifiers. They only have mediocre Korean runners and very few foreigners. If they had either a lot more foreigners or a lot more top Koreans it would have been much more interesting. If you want me to watch the same people 4 years in a row they need to be the best of the best.

Well, how many casters play Zerg?
Doesn´t Khaldor play Z?
Honestly, Khaldor probably hasn't actually played the game in a while. His play by play is still good but he needs someone else to bring the game knowledge.
When JD move down , Hydra roach has the first strike, right? Hydra roach already in position hold position and attack first . While Jaedong roach move down and take first hit.
Well Hydra rekt sOs 3-0 and has been a monster for a while, so I'm still proud of Jaedong's performance. I have a good feeling for the rest of the year .

A few ZvZ series aren't a problem for me, but it can get a bit much when it's all ZvZ all the time in a tournament. All PvP would be the same for me, TvT being the fun exception at the moment.
Either way, every final is interesting, no matter the match up.

I actually like all PvP slightly better than all TvT, tends to be more bullshit flung around which breaks the pace a little bit. But overall I do think TvT is the best match up considering general game quality. ZvZ is kind of meh, can be fun at times with some back and forth action.
great tournament and definitely getting better in production - casting very good, hosting meh, and at least solar had the decency to stay away from the crowd! really looking forward to the next one, let's see if with better advertising they can fill the venue!
