If the playoff bracket is structured the same as last season: Maru will play someone from Group D, either PartinG (Maru's nemesis), herO (friends?), Stats (revenge for Proleague and SC2SL semis), or Dear (throwback to 2013). Also, Zest will get a PvP (his most favourable matchup ATM?).

Maru had so many firebears though, they needed to be tanked by chargelots or even zealots. Without that Maru always had that small army beat. The 2 widow mines would have held the push if it wasn't for that lucky placed obs.

Maybe. It's not that much of an uncommon move. Hurricane had absolutely NO reason to recall there. He misplayed and it's his fault. As I said, Maru's playing well, but he gets too much credit for some of his moves at times.

It's actually my standard response vs 2 base colossus all-in. Usually am able to win baserace or at least force recall.
Hmm nice hold in the main by Hurricane. Surprised after killed natural Maru just didn't stall. Moving up into the main on the choke he took 3-4 lazors to a big clump of bio which you can't afford. Then also the SCVs are tanking nothing as were attacking pylons xD

Not sure why Leenock kept producing roaches after he had hydra den done. Probably wouldn't have mattered though, he didn't scout the all-in until too late.

Man dunno how Leenock was supposed to win this game. Can't take any costefficient fights with all the chokes. Turtle on 2 bases vs 3+1 gold and just sit and get deathball and win..

I liked this game a lot more than the SH games. I don't see why so many people are complaining. It wasn't like Leenock couldn't win that game no matter what. It was pretty close, but mistakes were made.

If you catch it earlier you can wall off the ramp to buy time. Or pull probes faster to attack the bunker. But when it is unscouted and you do the zealot cancel, it is pretty much GG.

From what I've seen, ZvP after the patch seems really dull and it uninteresting. Whole tech is pretty much gone(well at least until people start somehow using Swarm Hosts again, if ever...) and it all comes to will you go Mutas, or will you go for Hydras and somehow try to survive to the late game. Not even balance whining, Zerg will probably figure it out soon, but it's really boring.
Hopefully I was watching the wrong matches though.
