he's a tactical genius, his game vs herO on the last day of Proleague was just a magnificient display on how to hide a ninja base for 10+ minutes.

Agreed. It's hard to tell how he decides what off-the-wall strategy he's going with, though, they don't seem to make sense in context all the time.

That game was a god damn clinic on understanding what you can accomplish with map control. I really feel that regardless of how well he performs sOs is one of the most, if not the most intelligent Protoss player there is. Sometimes he gets too fancy for his own good and gets straight up murdered, but ever since I saw him hallucinate Colossi when going Templar in PvT back in 2012 I get so excited at how consistently smart he is.

sOs played that fantastically well, really brave and creative. It's just a shame that TY lost because he is such an awesome Terran. Oh well I guess we get to see another member of KT, hoping for stats or zest to see an awesome PvP

Yeah, I don't think much of that was freestyled. sOs did everything he could to project a one-base all in, and hiding a third while letting TY scout the lack of a natural base was part of that.
