He already is confirmed as that. Nobody has Maru's number like PartinG does. Nobody has Terran's number like Parting does. Also true. Weird that the soul train man's worst MU is PvZ nowadays <.< It's not so weird. PartinG was always hailed as soul train guy because zergs were dominating so it was easier to see, but he had really great macro templar in WoL, he was really infuential in PvT. I would even argue he is one of the most innovative protoss players in the history of sc2. For me (as a terran, albeit) I have admired his 4 gate stalker blink pressure, where he drops a 3rd base and gets out enough production to manage pull-the-boys builds. Definitely. PartinG has always stood out for his ability to figure out matchups and playstyles. I have come to admire him heavily as a player. He isn't just innovative in creating new macro builds, but he has tons of very unique aggressive builds that he tailors specifically to his opponents. Whats more is his phenomenal control of some of the fundamental units (oracle+stalker) works well in tandem with his aggressive style. Remarkable player in my mind I may be fanboying a bit, but to me there's three, maybe four players that stick out as the most innovative protoss players in WoL. Parting/Creator/HerO for PvT, HerO for PvZ, Rain for PvP. PartinG probably had the biggest impact on a single matchup by introducing robo/templar macro styles to PvT.
Certainly, the cool thing about parting is that he is always innovating and trying new builds. He's one of the few players who actually is responsible for evolving the metagame, along with players like Flash or Nestea, etc

Yeah, almost as much as mech, it's just that his version of mech is so unique that it really stands out. Also, RIP Gangnam Terran, first 1-1-1 allin in years against Protoss.

Bbyong is even a pretty good standard player.

Yes, but on Vaani it'll be unlikely after that opening^^. Bbyong is never getting out of the mech thing since he meched Classic in Proleague tho. That image sticks.

You're in good hands. Dark is an excellent player. Infuriating, but yes, excellent. There's almost no reason to ever think that Corruptors as a replacement for Mutas should be good versus Terran, but somehow it works. I can never shake the feeling that there's a refutation hiding somewhere in the meta, but I haven't seen it yet.
Taeja got the closest with tanks, but he's retired. He doesn't have the fire to see it all the way through.
