Protoss has WAY more options to pressure Terran and die when it fails, while Terran can only throw away dozens of scvs and full medivacs a few times before actually managing to die.

This discussion is pointless if we don't commonly define what we mean by "all-in" first, because if you really believe that "when a Terran "all-ins" it's called "pressure"" then we're clearly not talking about the same thing.
And since I don't have time to debate the P vs T imbalance while I'm a Zerg myself, I won't continue this discussion, and just leave this here : look at the brackets, and the results of the TvPs in particular.

That's mainly because everytime a protoss gets one of his units slightly in the direction of the opponent, every caster ever goes OMG HE'S GOING ALL-IN


No, it's because of scenarios where it is 10 min mark and you see 2 bases on 1 side and 1 base on the other side and the game is still very close.

Well look at the third game: macro game, Flash goes for a timing, Trap defends and wins.
fourth game: Trap is on one base, there's a 5 minute death animation, he's clearly dead at the 10 minute mark.
fifth game: fake agression into macro, 3rd base, timing push.

Your reaction to the series: Trap was on one base all-ining every time and he beats macro Flash, that's so sick.

Well obviously your reaction isn't based on what happened in the actual games, so I was offering a theory as to how you came to have it.


I don't buy the length of death animation as an argument. Also, I was trying to point out that Protoss seem to win tricks (I call it bullshit) rather then straight up games. I stand by this point. And I find it very offensive to certain hard-working players (Protoss players included). And then it hurts when I see similar series to this one. Sorry, just my opinion.


You have a definition of "straight up game" that basically means "wait until terran is strong to do anything". I can see why protosses wouldn't want to abide by it.

But more importantly, that's not what happened in this series, and you're still hurting, so there's not much we can do about it.

Flash threw game 1 away, and Trap played a different playstyle from his usual more macro oriented play as he said himself.

It was just a weak series with less than optimal play on both sides. No need to start saying the sky is falling lol Not every game is gonna be the inno vs life series of epicness

Maybe also becuz he beats fan favorites making people who hate those fan favorites (who actualy hate their fans) like him, while some of the fans of the fan favorites start to cheer for him since they hope he will do to others at some tournament finals what they did to their fan favorite.
