They were... either one-sided (first 2), cheeses (3+4) or really scrappy (5 But REALLY scrappy)). So basically we had it all, beside a good, even macro game. | ||

Game 1 and 2: Life outplaying Inno in macro Game 3: Life 9 pool into CC cancel. Tried a terrible baneling bust and ended up losing to a 3-3 timing. Was pretty close. Game 4: Life loses to proxy reaper (happened in game 1 as well but Life microed perfectly) Game 5: Life comes back from huge deficit through some great mutalisk harass and Inno overextending. Just absolutely epic game. | ||

Wouldn't consider a 2-upgrade lead throughout the game, because Life went for a cheese (9-pool) into Baneling all-in, even. But yeah, game 3 was probably the closest it got to an even macro game. | ||

Ideally we would have time for swiss rounds.. but it's not that exciting and the submarine effect is stupid. so double elim groups are a perfect mix between fairness and entertainment. | ||
