Well sure, but sometimes it's an educated gamble based on your prediction of where your opponent's units are and how well you think they react to such drops. You don't just fly medicavs into the base and pray the Protoss is sleeping (at least, not in GSL Ro16, that's what we do back in like Plat league :D) | ||

Based on your opponent's army positioning and your knowledge of where which buildings are in his bases you can make a reasoning-based decision to drop or not to drop, so it's not always a gamble, no? | ||
