GuMiho plays an aggressive mech so he can get relatively quick wins against someone who's not playing super solid.

What's the whole point of even organizing these things if the participants don't allow people to watch it. Determining who's gonna get a paid trip to Katowice? It's the main point of the qualifier, the show is a side effect you know. It annoys me too but I perfectly understand why they wouldn't want to be streamed, the less content available for your opponents, the better it is for you. To be fair to players, a lot of them are playing for 10+ hours already. So, don't think they really care too much about answering streamers and letting them in games.

Maybe they should remember that the only reason they're getting paid trips to anywhere is because people want to watch them play. Either IEM should enforce a rule to always allow casters or they should just not broadcast these things at all. This is just ridiculous.

This too, and it depends from players to player I can imagine that those who spam online tournaments are less concerned than the ones who aren't often broadcasted.
