I was thinking MoustacheTerran, but I can see that now you say it.

You ever think it was weird we never saw them at the same time as LiquidSucksBallsWithoutMe?

Nah, man, they're always on airplanes winning all that #dirtyesportsmoney. It IS a pity we never get to see the 4 of them doing 4v4 ladder for the lolz.

LOL completely outplayed. The only game that didn't come down to basic stupid mistakes was won by Zest (on Nimbus). Otherwise the series was horrible, far below Zest usual standards, with a lot of mistakes and questionable moves from both sides. But Zest was not being outplayed by any means, he just decided it would be fun to beat himself...

I love to gloat, so you should know that Nimbus was one of the games where Life couldn't really do anything to win after a certain point. Every other game Life played better (but sadly had no detection in game 4). Even Zest knew he wasn't up to snuff, he went for 2 consecutive cheeses. He knew he couldn't beat Life in a straight game.

Bomber > Taeja > MMA in terms of recent form, I'd say.

Yeah plus the brackets give whoever wins out of Bomber and MMA an edge. Getting to the final is half the battle (well its the whole battle if you're soO) and Bomber and MMA have a much easier road to the final.

Last we heard he's retiring either after DHW/HSC10 or after IEM WC next year.

Classic lack of understanding of what makes Life so good. Do you really think people just coincidentally make so many more mistakes against Life, every tournament, every year? Really?

I wonder where his magical powers to make his opponents play bad were gone when he dropped out of code A. He's not a magician. He chose good builds to put Zest out of his comfort zone and was lucky enough to have Zest making one of the biggest throws of the year in game 5. Nothing more, and it's already a lot. But Zest beat himself. Don't doubt that.

Well, if the opponent forces you to make mistakes... isn't that the definition of being outplayed?

... No one forced Zest to have nothing blocking his natural wall in game 1, to move out like a retard and no msc close in game 2 and don't tell me Life outmicroed Zest in game 5 because I'll laugh. Zest just made every click possible to lose after he set up that cannon. Those were totally unforced mistakes so no, not outplayed by any means.

Life outmicroed Zest in Game 5. No question about it. It was an ugly cheese and Life's use of the Overlord saved many drones, his use of drones killed 2 probes before more cannons could go down. What else is that if not outmicroing?

Not to mention that the game 2 was Zest outplayed. I don't know what else you can call it.

In PvZ the zerg can make the situation spire out of control but protoss can adept to the situation.

They played 2 straight games and Life won both. Then there was the Nimbus trainwreck, then the proxy twilight/DT shrine Life failed to scout. Life won the most standard games, it's plausible that Zest didn't want to be in the same position as in Game 1 and 2 again.
