MNS5 The fifth event of Monday Night Starbow is another Open Tournament for $25 USD.* Anyone can sign up to play. Date and Time: Monday, Nov 03 10:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) Stream: twitch.tv/SC2_Starbow Casted by: Vehk & Friends Sign-Ups: Challonge! RULES: Check In: Players will need to verify their participation by checking in through Challonge. Challonge Check-In will open one (1) hour prior to the event. Players will need to then present themselves in the chat channel by 22:00 GMT (+00:00). Players will be given no more than 5 minutes to arrive before they are disqualified. Chat channel: MNS on Americas Server. This is where results will be reported to the Event Administrator. Server: In all inter-server matches, Americas will be the default server. Home server will be default for all intra-server matches. Players may play on a different server than the default server ONLY if both players agree. Race Switching: Allowed between matches, NOT between maps. Game Invites: Only players and casters will be invited to casted games, no extraneous observers. If players choose to invite observers to non-casted games they are welcome to. The reason for this policy is to present a clean professional stream, encourage viewers to watch the stream, and eliminate as much lag and interruption as possible. Once you have finished a match, please wait for the casted match of the current round to finish before beginning your next match OR get permission to begin from the event admin in the chat channel. We would like to be able to show a variety of players, not follow the same player through the bracket. Also, depending on volunteer availability, the casters may need to be acting as administrators and we want to always have a match to present on stream. Series Length: All from the Ro16 on will be BO3. If more than 16 players participate, any matches prior to Ro16 will be BO1s. Depending on number of participants, Finals might be Bo5. Maps: Circuit Breaker Fighting Spirit Luna Match Point Texas 3.0 Neo DeserTec Chupung-Ryung Star Runner Platform Nine Blue Storm Starting Maps: Ro32 BO1 (if necessary): Fighting Spirit Ro16: Texas 3.0 Quarterfinals: Match Point Semifinals: Luna Finals: Circuit Breaker Vetoes: Each player will be able to veto two (2) maps per match. *Paypal account required to receive dirty e-sports money. ETisME 12259 Posts October 29 2014 16:09 GMT #3 Don't take it as an offense but does that mean in future for each of your events, you will bump the starbow main thread and create a thread in starcraft 2 tournament and also may or may not bump your own main thread? Isn't it quite excessive?

Vehk United States151 Posts October 29 2014 16:31 GMT #4 Hmmm... I'm not sure how much is too much, I guess. If a mod would like to weigh in that would be helpful. I don't generally post it in the main Starbow thread, but I figured it's for everything Starbow so it shouldn't hurt. If one of the mods feels I'm posting about these events too much then I will just create threads for each tournament. I also don't post in the main thread for every event, but occasionally. I do want them to be seen in both forum sections if possible, as some people may not visit both. Anyway, it seemed to work for cletoxD, so that is good.
