Lol if he is placed in Group A Taeja/Zest/Polt are going to demolish him

Homefield advantage worked wonders for Jim I heard.

FLUKE Life should've held that and then Taeja would have never had to play him

Jim made top 4 beating a WCS Finalist and the eventual winner of the tournament, whom Zest lost to 0-3. Seems pretty legit to me.

I'm just lamenting Life's loss really. Also I don't think Jim could do that consistently but I don't want to take away the fact that he was a monster at that event

Jim can probably do that if offline events played in person

online china 500 ping makes playing at high level kinda difficult

I heard Jim was rank 1 KR GM

Jim, Cure, Rogue, Dark, Maru, Innovation, and soO are all currently rank 1 gm

There was a time when Center was holding rank 1 a few months ago, which was funny because he was the only one in the top 30-ish that wasn't using a barcode

HuK's PvT is traditionally a bit of an Achilles heel for him, I think, and Bunny specializes in high-multitask, aggressive TvP, I didn't have high hopes for him anyways.

was there ever confirmation that huk got rank 1 KR GM? i know he had multiple top 10 KR GM accounts but did he hit #1?

anyhow i think someone said on stream Jim was the first foreigner in HOTS to get #1 KR GM, and might be the first foreigner in all of SC2 (WOL and HOTS included) if Huk wasnt the first?

Naniwa in one of his post-retirement interviews basically told everyone what everyone's KR GM rank was (sans the Chinese cause who the fuck knows). I think Snute/Naniwa got the highest. No one got #1.

there were some printscreens on twiter or something like that. i believe he was.. don`t see why would some lie about this.. when it is so easy to check at the current time.

Was a joke. At one point everyone was hyping Jim because it was rumored that he was rank 1 KR GM. Maybe he was, but either way he's was a little overhyped

yea Bitter and Rotti overhyped him so funny

hes still pretty good though, beating Life and Taeja

(if offline hes good, online with that Chinese 500 ping lag, he isnt that great lol)

btw Jim is the ONLY foreigner to ever beat Soulkey in a series

even the best foreigner Naniwa couldnt do it

and over map score Jim 4 wins, Soulkey 3 wins
