Oh man, HuK is going to take big damage if he doesn't scout this.

a Canadian is going to make top 4, defesne tha Canada

like Jim at IEM Shenzhen, got a powerup by playing in home country finished tied for 3rd/4th

which Canadian going to get top 4 here at Toronto? will it be HUK?????

Scarlett, obviously. There's no way HuK beats Scarlett in match play.

Beating Leenock and Jaedong in a row means he´s certainly got a good shot

Yeah you never know, but I get the feeling Scarlett knows Huk a little better

Imagine if HuK was placed in Group A or B, and all the canadians advanced to playoffs. That would be Super #hype.

Lol if he is placed in Group A Taeja/Zest/Polt are going to demolish him

Homefield advantage worked wonders for Jim I heard.

FLUKE Life should've held that and then Taeja would have never had to play him

Jim made top 4 beating a WCS Finalist and the eventual winner of the tournament, whom Zest lost to 0-3. Seems pretty legit to me.

I'm just lamenting Life's loss really. Also I don't think Jim could do that consistently but I don't want to take away the fact that he was a monster at that event

That was really beautifully handled by Bunny, getting out while the going is good after forcing all that lost mining time, killing workers, and forcing him to make units he doesn't want to.

so huk did beat leenock and jeadong ? sure all people call him still bad

i think he just is kickass good ^^

To be fair, the games against JD, especially G2, were really more of JD not knowing what the fuck he is doing than HuK playing better.

I hate comments like this. Let's just take away all credit to Huk because his opponent didn't know how to respond. Or perhaps Huk made sure JD didn't know what was going on?

Look, I am a fan of Huk; not the biggest, but I still enjoy his games. Lets not take away his wins by saying "oh its only cuz his opponent played crappy". These comments are bullshit. You don't know what was going on in JD's head.

And really, Huk isn't playing better? Dude is playing 10x better than he did since hots came out.

Yeah I'm saddened that I couldn't watch that event, so much cool shit happening with Jim playing like a monster, Snute beating TRUE and Stork and almost making the semis, Solar's incredible run (!).

Whenever I go for these 1-1-1 openings, I always fail to macro while attacking. I focus on getting a couple of extra probe kills, results in me having no stim on the way and floating 800 minerals

Better to lose what he did at the natural than getting absolutely boned in the main when you underprepare for the Medivac.

Time for Snute to follow the standard foreigner curse and lose the second series to the Korean he beat previously

It will be a battle of stamina... unless they have to hold that match to tomorrow due to the venue closing.

Those brave, brave admins going forward with the match this late.
Yes, I email sponsors... to thank them. Don't post drunk, kids. My king, what has become of you?
