This is going to be a good season. Whatever happens with Flash in the next rounds, the LR thread will be glorious with tears/fanboys/butthurt. And I'm just gonna sit here and laugh, and I wouldn't even mind Flash winning GSL.

People cheer for players they're fans of. I think I've seen you just trash talking Flash for like two years now.
Just like people cheering for sports teams or stars, you always have those who prefer the other player. It is unfair to call people out on cheering for a player or cheering against a player.
It is a sport after all and there will always be a winner and a loser, fans of loser always sad, fans of the winner are happy.

But he qualified for IEM. He won his Kespa Cup Qualifier. He 4-0 in Code S. What on earth more do you need to open up your eyes that Flash is in REALLY good shape? :S
I didn't say he wasn't in good shape, but I was not as impressed as everyone else seems to be. I didn't see him do anything that no other Terran could do. Dark and Solar played badly and controlled badly.
Well what about qualifying for IEM and Kespa Cup beating players like Soulkey, Effort, Parting, Maru, Dear and others. How many Terrans in the world today can do this in a few days without loosing a single Bo3 except vs his team mate Zest? Id say none at all. Flash is incredible solid. But he might not be as fun to watch as Maru. But he is a monster.

Constant overhype is annoying. And for the last 2 years, Flash was one of the most overhyped players in Sc2 history. Now, that he is actually getting to that level, people falsely believe him to be for 2 years, the hype will get less annoying and thus the downtalking will get less as well.

Cheering for players is totally normal. If you like the other player more then that's perfectly fine. That's not the same thing as just hating on a player all the time.

holy shit dude stop putting words in my mouth. I'm talking about today, he was not that great today. Those other things are awesome and show he's really good, but today was decent and that's it. His opposition decided to play badly and that's it
