Please help, I am drowning under the weight of evidence you're presenting Or should I say, I'm drowning in the Salt Lake.

You're claiming that good players with high skill levels consistently lose to a single player because he has some kind of force at his control which causes his opponents to mess up. I agree, it's called SKILL.

Same. And hopefully Pigbaby is the royal roader we all dream of.

It'll depend on his PvZ.

Does anyone know how well HyuN's PvZ is at this moment, by any chance?

I think that Heart and Bomber are both really good at TvT, such that either one of them can go to the finals.

It's kinda funny that people saw Taeja "winning every engagement". If by winning you mean committing a large portion of your armed forces against a Protoss with a superior economy and not actually killing any workers, sure I guess he was "winning every engagement".

Pigbaby trades his army defensively and favourably to protect his worker lines, while having more workers than the Terran. He then builds up a very strong army and strikes with good upgrades, while using heavy observer coverage to prevent economic harassment.

That first game especially, Taeja wasn't really winning any engagements. He lost like 20 bio units to snipe one colossus

I was specifically referring to the last game, the other ones Taeja was losing the entire time.

What did Taeja do to Pigbabys economy in Game 3? He was outmicroed in his initial harass, he killed Colossus but spent almost his entire bioforce doing it and Pigbaby was outproducing him.

It is unfortunate that skill only works in European weekend tournaments

It's hard to play favorites with these WCS AM guys, they're all very skilled and likable...that said I'm glad Taeja went down to Pigbaby : D

Pigbaby dissected Taeja's primary TvP strategy and counteracted it beautifully. That timing with zealot/archon/colossus is usually when a Terran would be possibly SCV pulling, or Taeja is setting up his economy with ghosts as a followup. Pigbaby just rolled it over with more, better stuff.

Pigbaby wasn't really losing the engagements though outside of the early game - which were pretty back and forth. the early part of the engagement would go Taeja's way, and then as Taeja tried to retreat Pigbaby would blink in and pick off a few medivacs which hurt his viking production making his later push stronger.

I think that I might have a curse of my own. So far, every 3-1 I predict lands into a loss for the player about whom I predicted.

Either a 2-3 or an 0-3.

This is one Protoss I'm definitely going to remember... the cast and the crowd were just far too hilarious.
I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky's 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.

Recent results looks like he's been beating foreigners comfortably besides a 4-3 vs Lilbow and losing to Sjaak but struggled vs Koreans

I'm not even talking about this series. Taeja lost to much in his aggression, and Pigbaby played an excellent defensive/punish style that rolled over Taeja. The thing with the observers, while funny, is actually really sick and I look forward to seeing his style become more popular. In this case though, I was just venting a somewhat-related frustration about Taeja as a player. Or rather, how people perceive him.
