That looked like it was her plan to do so until Trap killed her outlying expansions with DTs. She had a great position, Trap just managed to wiggle his way out of it. It was a great game. Heartbreaking, but great. Agreed. But it wasn't just the DTs, he also delayed her 3/3, Cracklings and Ultras a lot with his Warp Prism play.

Almost nobody has been referring to him, instead bandwagoning Polt. Very fishy imo. ##Vote: viOLet …sorry guys I've been focusing on mafia a lot in the last few days ![]() + Show Spoiler + The point of this post is that I hope viOLet does well and at least makes it to the finals ofc Polt's TvZ is actually looking very weak. He is still managing to win but it always looks like barely pulling through against the odds through sheer persistence. Always on a knife edge trying to make a style work that just doesn't seem very good. Wouldn't be surprised if Violet smashes him.

Yeah I think it was because you, Lorning, some other people and I were spamming the thread to 100 pages before the games even started. MLG delays build LR pages and LR pages = hype so MLG has just been building hype all along?

She went through back to back to back pros including motherfucking DongRaeGu before falling to Trap. It looks like she's improving all the time. I'm happy for her. She's right on that edge of being able to win a tournament like this, I hope she doesn't lose heart over this loss. It's also just a numbers game at this point. I think Scarlett has proved over the last few weeks that she can hang with strong Koreans. But if you go into a bracket where you have to win 5-6 BoX vs good Koreans, even assuming you are every bit as good as any of them individually, odds are one of them is going to have your number some way along that path. A BO win, an unscouted all in, a really strong game from your opponent when you made some mistakes(as we just saw), all the stuff that happens when elite Koreans play each other. And when you are the only foreigner against 7+ Koreans most of the time, it's just a matter of mathematics, you won't be able to win that may games against really good players back to back unless the stars align. What we just saw was an incredible performance. Over the last weeks she's beaten Taeja/MMA/Hyun/Ragnarok/DRG/Life/MC/Stork/Patience/Polt/Violet etc. I know people here are going to shit on her now that she lost and just generally be assholes while ignoring all she actually did, but that's just the internet. I'm happy about this result, and if you are a Scarlett fan so should you, because this is really about as much as we can hope for given the state of the game.

Flash on the other hand is playing like a god and not a single big win... But yeah, SoO is the greatest almost champion.

Also, is anyone else bothered by the idea that people root against a player he or she is korean? I get rooting for someone from your own country, but the fact that so many people don't even want to watch a tournament because one nationality is good at the game seems wrong to me.
