Actually CombatEx was a regular at offline events in Canada and won some I think. Also Scarlett thanked CombatEx alone after winning some championship if I recall, as he was her practice partner.

If American players can't handle it, they need to get better. America doesn't have the support for eSports like Korea yet. Imagine if we held that policy for the Olympics, America would not win nearly as much. In America, its really about being the best.

We want to see LB Round 8. Nestea against State/Suppy much closer and more important.

She does get bonus points for being a frequent visitor to these threads though, so I guess there's that. Would be sweet with a foreigner having a deep run, dont you think?

Not a popular opinion but I find foreigners' inability to win a premier tournament for so long pretty amusing and it worries me when someone gets close, then I feel vindicated in the end. If MC isn't playing I don't really care who wins.

I would love to present stream numbers showing evidence for why Korean dominance is detrimental to popular Starcraft 2 but sadly I don't have any access whatsoever to such figures. I am however absolutely certain a mix between foreigner and Korean player base would yield a much higher viewer base than an exclusively Korean top8.
