I dunno, many great ZvZers (Life, Leenock, HyuN) has used 9-10 pools a lot. I think it's a good way to play the matchup.
If he's comfortable in the long game he obviously shouldn't do it, but Scarlett's ZvZ is solid and I think he realizes that he has to play to win.

In theory we could actually see Catz vs Destiny. I'd be disappointed if not one burrowed festor squad is sent out between the two of them.

A unique composition choice in Game 2, and an all-or-nothing critical attack in Game 3.

Why is HuK playing Select if he is also in pool play? I'm confused.

Well, I guess it's only one series, and even in G3 the initial early aggression could have worked if he just played a bit better. Rags also beat Hyun 2-0 earlier today

Rags also beat Hyun 2-0 earlier today I'm not saying Rag is bad or lacks confidence, I just think as a general rule, using tons of early pools is not a very good way to play ZvZ and is not very conducive to getting consistent success. Early pools definitely have their place, but going for it again when she had already seen it was not very good imo.
