I don't know why you believe its played off-stream. I can confirm the 2nd of June 5PM CEST (11PM KST) for Acer vs iG. There was a bit of confusion, but Acer didn't want to play on Friday so they never agreed on that because INnoVation had Code S.
21.5.2014 was the date they agreed on but we couldnt play it, because the patch was LIVE but not yet on Korea so no one could enter the Korean server once we got on europe/NA.
This friday I don't know who gave out those information, but no one agreed to the date and there is no agreement between Acer and iG either in our skype conversation about playing today, because Acer said MMA is traveling to WCS. Thats why we made an exception that the clanwar can be delayed further than the normal +/-1 week rule as we made for a lot of teams during WCS.
No one gained an advantage or disadvantage.

Its not up to me as an admin to judge the teams capability with or without one player. When iG for example asked us in the past (I believe it was iG) if they could delay further than one week because of players having WCS, we allowed that as well. We already talked and discussed privately that we believe WCS is an acceptable scheduling conflict for a team whether its one or multiple players.
I'll give an example to make it more obvious without naming a team. If a team has 6 players and two are missing for the clanwar, they could still play. If they ask for a delay we will allow it.
If the other team has 5 players and one is missing they are capable to play as well, who are we to refuse them the delay for the same reason just because they already have a smaller lineup and only 1 person has to play WCS.
I hope thats understandable.

So what is actually going on then? The lack of communication is the most irritating aspect of this. If it's not happening, so be it, but if viewers and players are sitting on standby for 30 mins after the game is scheduled to start, with no idea of what's happening, something has gone wrong from an administrative standpoint.
I mean, if people knew 2 hours before it was supposed to start, why didn't anyone pop in here or on reddit and let people know?

As Yhamm said, we are not responsible for the Teamliquid calendar. It wasn't on our schedule. Neither on http://www.taketv.net nor on acer.taketv.net :o! Acer was aware of it not being played today, regardless of what Scarlett did state here. At least their management knew. If she didn't or the players didn't - there was misscommunication or lack of communication within their team.

Where is the trustworthy organizer schedule? I looked at the acer website and found a link to liquipedia, if the previous date listed on liquipedia was based on IG manager information, then i understand why the teams, players and audience is so confused.

There is a misunderstanding here.that date is comfirmed by me and acer.
the reason i asked "so we r playing acer today?" is that i didn't see it in TeamLiquid's incoming events.
so i asked the admin about this in skype.and the answer is they forgot to reset the tools about our match.
and from Acer's information is that MMA is in the flight to EU,so that we can't play it today.

Yeah he was actually still in a fine position after losing the hatchery (which I think he could have saved if he just moved in with lings a bit early and then the banelings after). Regardless, if he had just played semi-defensive for the rest and teched up some, I think he could have easily won. Also, surprised he didn't try and kill the low-ground stuff first.
Innovation tactics still #1 though.
