I dunno, I think some people would like a chance just to play with progamers so why not have professional players participate in a tournament with out prize pool. Professional athletes do that sort of charity / promotional stuff all the times playing with kids and aspiring athletes.

TL is so funny in this regard. I haven't yet met a single transgender person IRL, yet every thread remotely conncected to women is inevitable filled with a trans discussion. It's like an obsession. I am sure that ESL, begin one of the most reputable organisations in the whole SC2 scene, is able to make everyone as comfortable as possible without having to spell every fringe case in the rules explicitly. So people can leave their pitchforks for a better accasion and enjoy some SC2 instead, if they wish.

This is awesome! I love tournaments with any sort of restriction of entry!

So is there any streams/vods of this?
You don't really grow a scene if the tournaments that support it happen in obscurity with none the wiser.

Normal people don't care that there are transgender people who like the same things they do or go to the same websites they do. I'm transgender and I want to play in a female tournament. If I can't discuss it here, where am I supposed to go, a trans-free quarantine website so you don't have to be exposed to people that aren't straight white cis-males like yourself? For the record, despite numerous problems with ESL's very transphobic policies, Zolor and sherazade worked very hard today to get me into the tournament. I had a lot of fun and I hope zombie grub wins.
You sound like a tumblr person o.0
You may be transgendered, and feel hurt, but you don't need to have such an attitude my friend.

Yea the archiving function was turned off yesterday so no VOD's.. Sorry about that! There will be a next time though
This was my first time casting a SC2 game+Tournament and I was very happy with the feedback I got. I will keep practicing to make it even better next time, as we will try to hold a tournament once a month, with respect for the holidays of course

Yeah, that was close, i think i shall have stick to a banshee opener / raven / tank instead of trying a 15 gas expend on waystation.
Sadly, this tournament lacked of master player, overall it was fun, but a lot of good player were missing.
