If Stork beats Rain and then gets Ruin - he advances. If Stork beats Rain and then gets Symbol - he loses to Rain in rematch.
Seems like there will be little of Terrans in Ro16, so no reason for Ruin to go there and Symbol, i'm not convinced in his ZvP at all. Let's go with Rain and Stork here or Stork just crashes 0-4 and Symbol comes in second after Rain.
This should be a good one. In fact, in light of Stork's recent performance this may be the group of death (in contention with F). Wouldn't be surprised by any combination of players making it out of here.

Rain is the clear favorite on paper, but Stork's pvp is quite good and somehow I feel things won't be as straightforward. Symbol has the 1-matchup advantage and a history of consistency, but he's so hot and cold these days. Ruin has shown consistent improvement and finally looks like he's arrived as a decent code-S protoss. Not to mention he's unpredictable.

Rain and Stork to advance be cool. But these are the groups where Symbol just upsets everyone and does something crazy. So can't keep him out. Ruin showed an ok PvP yesterday too vs MyuNgSiK so who knows with him as well. Could be a close group.
Ruin because IM. Regarding Symbol, I've never really been a fan of him, although he has been a Code S staple for so long that it would feel strange without him.
To me, Rain is the guy who got his hype train crushed by Mvp I've yet to see him distinguish himself from just being a part of Mvp's legacy
Phew, Artosis is going for Ruin over Stork (although he wouldn't mind if Stork advanced..... uh oh). Even still, Stork should be safe from Artosis' evil bias curse!
His micro was poor i think. I mean you can never hit that timing imo due to the nexus cannon being to strong. So he waited and by that time he had given Rain time to get his blink finished so was gg :s Then he let probes kill his stalkers on top of that so probe counts where even.

Don't know that it would have worked, with a couple less stalkers due to the money put into robo, plus an immortal, Rain would have pushed him out way earlier and probably have killed the robo.

Yeah, the PvP meta has fluctuated a lot over HOTS. But, the MSC is not invincible. Also, Stork got a little lucky in that game. If Rain had scouted right and not bottom, I think he would have held with the help of the MSC and more units.

I thought this too. Rain had no vision either. Stork had two Sentries too. With an Immortal he may have held the ramp although Rain would probably have made enough Stalkers to contain him and delay his expo while he took his own.

Especially since Stork owned Rain just a week ago where it was Rain going for the aggressive/cheesy play in SPL

It probably is a fair assessment. But, why would Stork try to take on Rain in a macro game? There is nothing wrong with Stork recognising this and taking that approach to the series. However, it would have been good to see him do it better than he did.

That cannon and pylon wall at the ramp was a mistake. It would have been better to defend at the natural and recall to the third (with the cannons there) if Symbol attacked the third. That was a good game, though. I can see why Artosis likes Ruin.

Yeah, I think you are right, in retrospect Ruin should probably have just FFed one ramp off completely, repositioned to not get any damage from that flank and then section off half the army from the other rank, and then rotated his defenses around like that until he stabilized.
Wow this is the most biased cast I ever heard from Artosis, Symbol made some awesome plays that didn't even get mentioned, while Ruin building 3 cannons gets Artosis to almost orgasm^^.

Ruin didn''t have the gas for Colo. He was spending a lot on Stalkers and Sentries and had barely begun mining the 3rd.

Playing a BO1 in Pro League is not a good ranking system for Terrans. Take TY as prime example. Has one of the best Terran records in Pro League, put him in DH and GSL he is pretty darn average. Maru is just solid all around, he can win BO1s and he can lose BO1s. He however is very strong in BO3s though.
BO1 can be luck based and build order wins, you rarely double build order win in a BO3.

Top KeSPA Terrans are in Code B, except for Bbyong. That's it. Ggs, Rain. <3
That's correct. Never did I say anything else. Their level can still be similar. I won't even say anything about bbyong, because I'm biased on that part.
Similar or not, but they kinda have to win important bo3s finally. Flash is failing for quite a while, TY crashes from Dreamhack in first really important bo3, and Fantasy can't beat Leenock who will be 0-4'd in group in 2 weeks. + There is Bbyong but you never know what to expect from him. He's like Creator for Terrans.

BO1 can be luck based and build order wins, you rarely double build order win in a BO3.
The bracket luck needed to even think about Code S eclipses the BO1 unstability.

PL has a way of screwing with people´s heads, because of the regular exposure its top-players get. Remember the SC2 power ranks and how heavily they favored PL results? It´s normal, I think.

Maybe you realized that it is just like American Disney teen pop with the only difference being that you don't understand what they are saying, which is probably the best thing about the genre.
