He tried several ways to win and got shut down by an endless rally of locusts and static defense. It wasn't a great game. If it wasn't Stephano no one would give a shit about it.

My reasoning for this is simple. When do people generally stop watching a tournament? In the breaks, most people want some kind of "closure". If a game goes 2 hours, people generally would rather wait and finish before moving on, rather than quit watching midgame, and so new people keep coming to the stream but less people are leaving until the game ends.

Nothing to do with authority. If you only like very specific SC2 played in the way YOU want then you don't like the game. That's just logical. Like if someone only likes watching tiki taka football and nothing else doesn't really like football.
