I dunno man, a "p" just seems like an "o" with a line attached to it.....and Suppy has two "p"s, so there's where the two perpendicular lines of the "T" went, not to mention if you cut off the bottom part of a "y" and stood it sideways next to the rest of the letter (and squint) it looks like a "w".
So I think Suppy clearly has the edge over aLive.

I agree with the p being an o with a line and I would consider it if one of the other letters had a solitary, small line similar to p (like i, b, d, r, q). In addition, capital letters count as more than lowercase letters, which is why the L is weighted so much.
However, I will change it to 3-2.

Considering the only zerg he's beaten recently that IMO would be counted as skilled is Pet....
Now major has the same issue with no recent BIG tvz games against top KRs, but I'd say scarlett and kane better ZvT players than Pet.
All my opinion. I'm also a big major fan, so I got that going for me.

I don´t usually watch the challenger league or early premier league rounds in AM because of the time zone, however, this time I wanted to tune in for some terran action. It's odd that only the Portugese stream always seems to be up and running. I know they had a Spanish stream last year, could they not find a new caster after TheArgie decided to do the WCS EU Spanish cast?

I honestly think that unless you're into bragging about the expensive wines you drink, you only need to make sure you don't get the absolute cheapest. In Norway you'd get good wine for 10 pound/20 dollars, and that's really cheap. Like, a sixpack of ,5 cans of beer is like 20 pound/40 bucks.

He mostly just ran into banelings then a few seconds too late stimmed and ran away, no real splits involved. Pretty depressing to watch

aLive used to be a big meching player back in WoL. It was cool seeing him try to play marine-tank-mine on King Sejong. I think with slightly better execution, he could have set up a well defended middle base and leap-frogged to Suppy's 4th

This is a really well thought out build by Ian. The overlord snipe followed by the spore as part of the wall-off is pretty cool. Still have to favour Check overall; he just seems like the more well rounded player.

Online series are more prone to upsets regardless of what server they're playing on. NA vs NA, EU vs KR, KR vs NA. KR vs KR. It's just how the game works, LAN Tournament > Online Tournament > Ladder > Practice Game. Beating someone at a LAN is how you prove you're better than someone :D

Agreed, which is why i think the format of 1 single online bo5 to basically determine if you have any shot at decent earnings for the year, let alone a chance at Blizzcon is pretty harsh. But again, people who supported a region lock are probably happy about this and I'm not sure if my opinion is the majority or not haha

For the last time, since it's been mentioned three or four times already, losing one series to a foreigner doesn't mean you have to retire. He got picked up by a super healthy team really recently, and it would make no sense for him to retire right now. I think he's far more likely to put his nose to the grindstone and practice than give up

I can't tell if people are joking, but I think that has been the perpetual curse for aLive: He just cannot generate community hype for some reason. It's not like he has no personality (though he is admittedly not an extremely outgoing character like MC), he's done very well in several premier tournaments, demonstrated good play in the past, and was even signed on to fucking EG. When a player manages to do that, they should have attracted more attention, but alas.
But for some reason, he's always in the background and overlooked. Which is why people missed him going to MVP, and assume he's teamless and about to retire (since they just saw Genius and TheSTC go).

Agreed. Even after Ian got a perfect engagement, and before he overextended, his supply was still lower. Check isn't doing anything fancy and is outmacroing Ian. Ian might be a more creative player, but Check is more solid. In roach mirrors, more efficient build orders are king. If Ian wants to win I think he should try to get a non-mirror situation, such as going for mutas.

He's been in Premier before. The problem is the skill gap between very good NA players and the best Koreans in AM (Polt, Jaedong, Taeja, Bomber, etc.) is still too wide for NA players.

Major is playing the style of TvZ I have missed seeing for a while: Drop everywhere and attack in every place constantly until the zerg just crumbles. Love that play style, why I'm a hardcore Dream fan.

The pattern of Major in WCS goes deeper than Rotti mentioned. THIS is what happened to Major in all 3 of his past WCS seasons.

Throwing away mutas for resupply in roaches. But the mutas should have at least done ANY damage. But they didn't. The got the health of the thors down a bit, but they had their backup buddies aka SCVs

Just to make it clear, NA is currently 5-1 in Challenger, and that one loss was a teamkill.

MaSa and MajOr both playing really well. Not sure how good Slam is though; I am not familiar with his play. Suppy taking out aLive is also really impressive, so good for him.
