God damnit if you can do that everyone has to shut the hell up about MC's tournament winning drought and recognize Warer as a premier Tournament.

ESTV Cup 2 is offline. Warer was online

The Red Bull trial of the Xel'naga tournament was also offline. It's the player pool and format that make a premier tournament

That seems fair
The player pool for ESTV Cup is amazing

Okay so if ESTV Cup is a premier tournament because of its player pool, then so is Warer. Also the player pool is okay for ESTV, nothing incredible

offline + amazing player pool

Middling PL players combined with fringe Code S players and Life, who clearly did not really even prepare for it given he got sent out so early. It's a solid tournament, but Warer was just as good if not better

Warer was a joke tournament couldn't even play the finals on time

When Shellshock starts trolling, I know I have triumphed

online, low prize pool, super delayed finals
offline, great players, unknown prize pool but probably solid
which one is more likely to be premier?

They're both premier :D

Yeah no too cringeworthy, even worse with dedicated casting

What, you don't like the Swedish casting?

+ Show Spoiler +
Yes, it's horrible. As always.

I imagine that some day there'll be good casting in Swedish

I think the worst thing is that they use the English names for everything. Throwing the word "cheese" into a Swedish sentence will never sound good.
But then translating the unit names would sound extremely silly as well. It's a lose-lose situation imo.

The Dreamleague Dota league casted in Swedish proves that you can use english words and not feel or be silly. Swedish sc2 casters should look to that production for inspiration.

I'm a HerO fan. People make fun of him for crying and being nervous literally every time he loses. It happens to all of us D:

Yeah but HerO has atleast farmed a couple foreing tourney wins so people cant hate on that aspect

Except people say just that. "He has farmed some foreign tournaments, never won anything big". At least Inno has made a GSL finals and won Season 1. D:

That's the thing: As a guy who has attained a level of dominance in SC2 matched only by Mvp and Life, Innovation has very little individual titles to show for it.

A lot of Top 4, Finals but only 1 championship.

Innovation's "reign" if we can call it that was about 4 months. Mvp's was somewhere between 2-3 years and Life's was 7 months.

Mvp was most dominant in the summer and fall of 2011. While he continued to win because he was Mvp, he never regained that dominant form.

I'd say he reached Godhood after he lost his dominant form.

He attained miraculous wins, not dominant ones. He was an underdog against the queen patch and his own body

"Broken Man" Mvp still has more tournament wins than almost all other SC2 players. Whether he looked dominant or not is a non factor. He embodied the most important virtue of SC2. Victory.

I don't watch Dota, and even if I did I very much doubt I would watch it in Swedish. So I'll remain skeptic about that. But I'm the type of person who watch movies with English subtitles (unless it's in Swedish, that is), so I might be biased.

Mvp won in a GSL where there were 5 protoss inro8 and he beat thee of them who lived in the same team house.

Then he reinvented the meta against BL/Infestor.
